The Beauty Crop was born when founder Ning grew frustrated with affordable beauty brands that made her eczema worse.
Our mission is to bring affordable, ingredient-first beauty with nutritional formulas that transform the skin from within. We don’t think skincare-first beauty should be beige or clinical. We feel that plant-based beauty should be full of as much fun and personality as our community.

Meet Ning
The idea for The Beauty Crop was born from a simple belief: makeup should be fun, feel-good, and packed with skin-loving ingredients. Ning started the brand in 2015 after working in investment banking, struggling to find products that were both playful and clean, without compromising on performance or price.
With a background in chemical engineering, she set out to create them herself. Her journey began in a tiny one-bedroom apartment, where she poured hours of love, hard work, and countless late nights into building something special - no big investors, just a dream and a lot of determination.
Ning’s approach to beauty is refreshingly real: no filters, no fluff. Just effective, cruelty-free products designed to celebrate individuality. She believes beauty should be inclusive, empowering, and never taken too seriously.
