We Make Games That Bring People Together
In 2013, three friends from London pack in their sensible jobs to start a board game company. Over the next ten years they grow from three human potatoes to over 50, from one game to over a hundred, and take root in 45 countries around the world.
How It Started. How It's Going
Along the way they embark on a series of adventures:
Launch the world’s first board game vending machine.
Patent MOOP® technology, turning reclaimed ocean plastic into game cards.
Bring board games to festivals, to work dos with our Hosted Game Nights, and to schools with The Big Inventor Challenge.
Become one of the first companies in the UK to adopt a four-day working week, making Thursday the new Friday.
Are awarded B-Corp certification, meaning they’re internationally recognised for reaching the highest standards of environmental and social impact.
The whole potato empire runs under the watchful eye of Spudley, their new CEO.
